Program Description:

Continued growth in the global wind industry indicates a demand for more specialists with advanced education in wind energy. Organizations will need professionals who understand the inner workings of wind turbines, are able to predict wind farm performance, and understand the complexities of siting, permitting, and logistics. In addition to being an excellent stand-alone credential, all of the courses in the Graduate Certificate in Wind Energy can be applied toward the Wind Energy Option of the Master of Professional Studies in Renewable Energy and Sustainability Systems (iMPS-RESS) degree program, also offered online through Penn State's World Campus.
