M.A. Early Childhood Education

Students in the M.A. Early Childhood Education program will learn how to integrate Pacific Oaks' transformative approach to the field in a variety of leadership roles in public schools, state agencies, child care programs, and several different kinds of nonprofits serving children and families. The program is based on a strong foundation of early childhood education theory and research and even provides real-world opportunities that go beyond just working with children and families. Students will learn how to collaborate with leaders and administrators in the education space to accomplish and manage a variety of tasks, including facilitating staff development, evaluating programs, creating business processes, and establishing useful practices and policies. These experiences will provide students with an unmatched skillset focusing on culture-centered education. Graduates of the M.A. Early Childhood Education program will be prepared for a variety of leadership roles in just about any educational capacity in the world.
