Program Description:

The Master of Arts in Ministry enhances the ministry skills of pastors and lay leaders in the local church. The program will prepare you to serve even more effectively in the church and society, whether you are in paid or lay ministry. The program consists of 8 required courses and concentrations (Practical Theology and Pastoral Care and Counseling), each consisting of 4 courses. All graduates of this program must be grounded in the Bible, theology, and historical thought in context of the church.

The Practical Theology Concentration is designed for experienced ministers as well as those who feel called to dedicate their lives to the work of the ministry. This program is designed to develop the student’s skills in applying theological principles to current ministry challenges.
