The Master's in Education program at Nyack College offers a flexible, cohort-based model tailored to meet the needs of both career-changers and experienced teachers. Our program stresses the importance of individual character and integrity by integrating faith-based practices into students' professional development. Our faculty is top-notch, pulling together a diverse group of educators who are both scholars in their field as well as seasoned practitioners.
We offer initial New York State certification pathways in Childhood Education (CE) and Childhood Special Education (CSE), which also puts students on the path to professional certification. These are hybrid programs offered at both the Rockland and MAnhattan sites.
Our newest program, MS in TESOL ,offers initial and additional certification as well as a non-cert tract, perfect for those individuals interested in working with adults or students overseas. This is a fully online program.
The program is a blended format. The majority of courses are to be completed in the classroom in addition to a select number of online courses.
