Program Description:

The world is only becoming more connected and because of this, there are considerable opportunities to assist in facilitating a greater quality of life around the world. The International Development and Influence concentration helps provide the public administration professional a graduate-level educational experience aimed at fostering progress in developing countries. Particular focus will be placed on the value and role of analytical research, identifying stakeholders, understanding the role of non-governmental organizations and assessing the social, cultural and political context of the areas of development. Students will also be familiarized with the process of an organizational needs assessment as a necessary step in planning international development.
