Our graduate programs prepare nurses to work at advanced levels of practice in rural areas. We offer an MS in Nursing in two specialty tracks: Family Nurse Practitioner, and Generalist.
The graduate nursing program is open to qualified applicants who hold a baccalaureate degree in nursing or an associate degree in nursing with a bachelor’s degree in another field. Preference will be given to applicants with:
- clinical experience in relevant areas of professional nursing
- a minimum of three to five years of nursing experience (FNP program only)
- life experience may also be considered
The GRE is not required for admission to the School of Nursing graduate program.
Accreditation:Program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Accreditation. NAU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).
