Master of Health Administration (MHA)
NCU’s Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree program provides leadership and management skills for those seeking entry or mid-level leadership positions in a variety of healthcare settings. It is aligned with the standards of the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) and will utilize the National Center for Health Care Leadership (NCHL) competency model. It is most ideally suited for those who want to focus their management career within the healthcare industry. Students will explore crucial topics such as data-driven decision making, health policy development and implementation, leadership skills and quality management within healthcare organizations. They’ll also learn about fiscal decision making, financial management and the role of technology. Additionally, this innovative program uses Interprofessional education (IPE) as a foundation for each course. IPE competencies are designed to facilitate teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration.
