Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration - Human Resources Management
This doctoral-level Human Resources Specialization focuses on the interrelationships between the organization's most important resources – its employees, its leadership, and the business organization in general. This specialization will provide the Human Resources Manager the tools necessary to properly create, develop, mediate, and maintain these interrelationships that are so important to the overall success of the organization. Students will conduct research on theories and practices for HRM information systems, compensation and staffing strategies, training and professional development, cultural diversity, innovation, labor relations, and legal issues in HRM. The student may choose to complete his or her dissertation in this specialization, furthering the scholarly research and adding to the current body of knowledge in the field of Human Resources Management or one of its specific functions. This program will allow the students to become scholarly contributors to the current body of knowledge in a field they are passionate about. Financial aid may be available to those who qualify.
