, Master of Science in Instructional Technology
New York Tech's College of Arts and Sciences offers master's degrees in Instructional Technology for trainers and for educators, as well as several advanced certificate programs. The Master of Science (M.S.) programs allow students to study online and learn the skills they will need to succeed in teaching the use of new technologies in the classroom.
In our program, you’ll develop knowledge and skills in adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and global training techniques as we enhance your experience in and knowledge of social networking platforms, software and training simulations, collaborative tools, mobile devices, and games to design technology-based training environments.
You’ll also learn how to design technology programs to improve communication and collaboration, to boost productivity, and to bridge cultural differences and standardized procedures throughout an organization’s global workforce. Find out how some trainers demonstrate compliance with safety or other industry-specific regulations, while others instruct personnel on the use of new hardware or software adopted by an organization, either in person or via e-learning programs.
