Program Description:
The MA in Educational Technology is designed to meet the needs of classroom teachers who want to apply technology to the learning process and individuals wishing to develop leadership skills as site-based technology coordinators. It is intended to develop a broad range of technological expertise, while at the same time focusing clearly on the new way that technology is changing how students and educators create and understand knowledge. The School Library Media certifications focus on the improvement of the learning process through the evaluation, selection, organization and utilization of print and non-print resources and the technology related to their use. The Career Education Specialist certificate is designed for educators who place and supervise vocational-technical students. The Distance Learning Specialist Certificate builds knowledge, skills and leadership in distance/online education and training. The Assistive Technology Certificate has a cross-disability perspective. These programs may be completed online.
