Attend in the classroom or online • Classroom meets twice a week Lebanon campus Rend Lake Marketplace, Mt. Vernon KY campus • Online -Same curriculum as campus but offered in an online format for students that cannot attend in the classroom Advantage of attending McKendree’s MBA • Small classroom size -Average is less than 20, both in the classroom and online • Taught by faculty that are experts in their field; bringing real-world experience into the classroom • Obtain degree in as little as 18 to 36 months, depending on your pace and format you choose At the Lebanon Campus, courses are held over a five week time period. Regular class sessions meet from 6:00-8:50 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays each week. A third weekly session is comprised of online or independent work. There maybe an occasional Friday class. This program can be completed in 18 months. At Rend Lake Market Place in Mt. Vernon, courses are held over an eight week time period. Students will meet for each course eight Tuesdays, three Thursdays and four online sessions. Classes are from 6:00 to 8:50 p.m. This program can be completed in 2½ to 3 years. In the E-Learning format, courses are held over an eight week time period. Students will complete assignments on their own with certain fixed deadlines. This program can be completed in 2½ to 3 years. However, prior to matriculation, up to 12 credits from another accredited institution may be applied toward completion of the requirements for the MBA degree at McKendree. Foundations of business knowledge: Students who have not completed undergraduate course work in accounting, management/marketing, microeconomics and statistics must acquire foundation knowledge in the deficient area(s). Foundation courses provide students with broad introductory knowledge in key subject areas of business. The courses are: MBA 501 Foundations of Accounting and Finance MBA 502 Economics for Managers MBA 503 Marketing and Management Concepts MBA 504 Quantitative and Statistical Tools McKendree offers these courses, in an E-Learning format, specifically for students who are deficient in any of the foundation areas. A foundation course must be completed prior to taking a MBA course in that area.
