In today's "innovation economy," entrepreneurship not only provides an increasingly broad range of career opportunities, but continues to be the driving force behind regional, national, and global economic development. The LSUS MBA with a Concentration or Specialization in Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise teaches students the knowledge, skills, and capabilities needed to recognize and shape market opportunities, assess financial feasibility, acquire and bundle essential resources, build a professional support team, design effective business models and successfully launch a new venture. Students will also learn to build and maintain lasting customer relationships and manage growth. Courses in this program deliver a well-rounded understanding of business essentials; but more importantly, they teach students how to think strategically, develop an innovation mindset, and build creative competencies.

MBA with an Entrepreneurship & Family Enterprise Concentration Online

While building on your business foundation in our MBA core courses, students wishing to start their own business or work for a new start-up venture, grow or realign an existing business, work in a family business, or manage a small company can choose three venture management focused concentration courses.

MBA with an Entrepreneurship & Family Enterprise Specialization Online

This option provides students with cutting-edge knowledge and practices in entrepreneurship as well as small- and family-business management while tailoring your MBA to best meet your needs. You will take two courses from the Entrepreneurship & Family Enterprise Concentration and one MBA elective of your choice.

Courses in this program deliver a well-rounded understanding of business essentials; but more importantly, they teach students how to think strategically, develop an innovation mindset, and build creative competencies.
