Engineering has never been simple. Today’s transnational corporations, with teams and supply chains that span the globe, make the process even more complex. Keeping projects on track increasingly requires the skilled input and oversight of engineering managers. In fact, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that an additional 13,100 engineering and manufacturing managers will be needed over the decade from 2012-2022.[i]
LeTourneau University offers a 30-credit online master’s degree designed to help mid-career engineers meet this rising demand: the Master of Engineering Management (MEM). This multidisciplinary program offers the theoretical and practical skills you need to take the lead in today’s complex engineering environments. With LETU, you also have the opportunity to pursue specializations in Aerospace management.

The goal of the Master of Engineering Management is to equip engineers with the process, human resource, and analytical skills they need across five areas of competence:
Business Skills: Apply business models, financial analysis, and knowledge of the global economy to solve business problems through the development of innovative products and services.
Systemic Skills: Apply knowledge of business systems, even where information is incomplete, to the solution of systemic problems.
Strategic Skills: Employ information and information technology in innovative ways to enhance your company’s competitive advantage and sustainability.
Project Skills: Plan, implement, and maintain technical projects through management of diverse teams.
Interpersonal Skills: Engage stakeholders and lead colleagues in local and global contexts through clear communication and modeling of Christian principles of service.
Graduates should demonstrate the advanced theoretical, practical, and leadership skills necessary to pursue roles of higher responsibility within their organizations.
The curriculum of this program includes six core courses, four specialization courses, and a capstone course in which students demonstrate their mastery of the curriculum through design of an engineering project. Core courses include:
