Program Description:

Our Ph.D. in Educational Studies allows you to develop a course of study that directly and precisely relates to your interests and goals. Flexibility and interdisciplinarity are key features of the program, allowing students to refine their doctoral study plan to reflect ongoing scholarly inquiry and research. Participate in qualitative and quantitative research, interdisciplinary seminars, and elective coursework related to your topic, with ongoing support from an advisor and doctoral committee. Independent study is also possible, with faculty within or outside of Lesley. Program consists of 45 credits in three program phases The final phase culminates in writing and presentation of the dissertation Students work with a senior advisor and a doctoral committee Classes are held late afternoons and evenings on Lesley’s Cambridge, MA, campus; online elective coursework may be available Prerequisite: Master’s degree or Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study Application deadline: January 15
