Master of Education in Literacy (ET*)
Targeted for current teachers in a K-8 classroom, a key feature in this new Literacy program is the continuous coaching of instructional practices using video technology that captures both teacher and student work.
• All coursework is directly tied to the real work you do in your classroom.
• The elementary content courses that complement the clinical courses—in math, science, writing, literacy, social studies, technology, and linguistics—provide deeper subject matter knowledge and understanding.
• Three highly interactive practices are emphasized: assessment; culture and climate of the classroom; and teaching for learning progressions.
