Graduate Certificate in Autism

Format: Online

Program Description:

Become an advocate for those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In Lesley University's online Autism Spectrum Disorder: Allies and Advocates Graduate Certificate, you learn how to best implement resources to help with behavior, quality of life, transitioning in adulthood and the criminal justice system throughout schools, home, and the community.

You’ll take four courses that focus on the roles and choices of family members, friends, allies, and advocates who support children with ASD. Through a curriculum that connects theory with practice, you’ll examine current issues related to ASD and develop strategies to support the unique needs of every child.

Because this program is offered in a convenient online format, you have the flexibility to study when and where you want. You’ll learn in a virtual community that supports you, with interactive elements like chats and discussion forums that keep you connected.
