Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering
The Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering degree program is designed for working professionals who have already obtained a bachelor's degree in engineering and have some nuclear engineering training.
All courses needed for the degree are available online to students residing both in and out of the United States. Students never need to come to campus for any course work and will travel to the Kansas State University campus only once at the end of their program for an oral examination, which is conducted by their supervisory committee.
Navy personnel who have nuclear engineering post-graduate training through the Nuclear Power School or the Navy's Bettis Reactor Engineers School (BRES) may apply up to 3 credit hours from their Power School training or up to 12 hours from their BRES training.
