The adult learning graduate certificate emphasizes how adult learning principles and instructional methods can be used to strengthen the skills of trainers and educators who provide educational opportunities for adult learners.
This program will assist working professionals who would like to expand their skills in the areas of adult curriculum design, learning theories, teaching methods and program evaluation.
Master's Degree
The adult learning and leadership master's degree program is geared toward working professionals whose careers involve working with adults in educational and training situations.
The online master's degree in adult learning and leadership is designed to offer many opportunities for students to tailor their program of study to their professional needs. Students may combine this degree with one of K-State's online graduate certificate programs.
Students complete a portfolio as they progress through the degree program. The portfolio is due during the student's final semester of coursework and is required to fulfill the final examination requirement. Students may complete the program by taking face-to-face (Olathe and Ft. Leavenworth locations) or online courses or a combination of the available options.
