Program Description:

Indiana Wesleyan University's Master of Science with a major in Accounting (MSA) degree program is a 30-credit-hour graduate program.

Students in our online Master’s in Accounting program will learn to integrate knowledge of accounting standards and practices in performing forensic accounting and auditing services, financial reporting, and tax preparation and advisory services. Students of this Master’s program will design appropriate communication strategies to achieve organizational goals and an ethical, legal and biblical framework that guides interactions within the business environment that addresses the legal implications of business transactions and how they relate to accounting, auditing and financial reporting.

The MSA program at Indiana Wesleyan is designed to build upon your undergraduate degree completion and enable each participant to:

  • Integrate knowledge of accounting standards and practices in performing forensic accounting and auditing services
  • Develop financial reports in accordance with accounting principles, ethical standards and legal requirements
  • Synthesize knowledge of accounting theory and practice in providing tax theory, tax preparation and advisory services
  • Create an ethical and legal framework that uses professional ethics to address the legal implications of business management and transactions, and how they relate to financial accounting, auditing and financial reporting
  • Design appropriate communication strategies to achieve organization goals
  • Integrate a biblical framework that guides interactions within the business environment and workplace
