Program Description:

Indiana Wesleyan University’s Master of Public Health (MPH) is a 46-credit-hour graduate program designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of each of the five (5) core areas of public health, including Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Environmental Health, Health Services Administration, and Social and Behavioral Studies.

With a Master’s in public health in Indiana, you can build upon your Bachelor’s degree and be prepared for a career where you can influence public health on a local, state, national and/or global level.

IWU is a Christian university, and this program is provided from a distinctly faith-based foundation through a unique hybrid learning model.* Students will value, understand and apply the inter-related social-behavioral theories and contextual factors needed to address the complex health problems of 21st-century households, communities and organizations.

*The hybrid learning model consists of students attending class for one 5-day intensive on campus during August of the first year with the remaining content being covered in an online setting. The courses will be offered as 8-week sessions with students taking 1-2 courses per session.
