The master's in nursing program prepares students for leadership and clinical roles in advanced practice nursing, and serves as a foundation for doctoral studies. Specialization is offered in three areas: Family Nurse Practitioner; Nursing Administration; and Nursing Education. All courses are offered on-line. On-campus visits are not required. Clinical courses may be arranged in the student's community. Indiana State University's Nursing Program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. Graduates of the Family Nurse Practitioner Track are eligible to apply for ANCC or AANP certification.
