Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality Management as well as non-profit management, health care management and general tracks.
The Master of Business Administration Program reflects Husson's belief that a good education is more than a matter of theory and books. Active classrooms, courses tied closely to actual management experience, a diverse student body representing various industry backgrounds, and a seasoned and multi-sector experienced faculty all contribute to a more comprehensive and up-to-date education. Our program is distinguished by the following aspects:
Developing Essential Business Skills
The Master of Business Administration Program is a thirty-six credit graduate management curriculum designed to develop and strengthen skills in analysis, decision-making, and implementation. The program balances strengths in the traditional areas of accounting, finance, human resources, operations, and marketing with careful attention to the development of skills in communication, interpersonal relations, and leadership essential to effective performance in organizations. A student may also focus on non-profit, health-care management, and hospitality tourism management.
Multiple Perspectives for Students of Business
While students in the Master of Business Administration program may have received their undergraduate business degrees from differing institutions of higher education, the Husson MBA program will provide all with both a global and local-to-the-region perspective.
A Program for Professionals
Classes are scheduled on evenings and weekends to accommodate participants' work schedules. The part-time student can complete the program in two years without career interruption. The program is offered online or on the Husson campus in Bangor, at the University's South Portland Center, and at Presque Isle.
