Program Description:

Granite State College’s Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) is a practice-oriented program ideal for managers who want to enhance their ability to integrate complex projects, motivate people and achieve cost-effective results. Granite State’s MSPM program is expertly tailored to fit the needs of individuals who want to make a career change, current project managers who want to advance in their profession by gaining graduate qualifications for job security and flexibility, and individuals from a variety of disciplines who want to further expand their job opportunities by adding this professional degree to their portfolio. As a graduate with an MSPM, you will be able to: Effectively employ strategies for managing projects through the entire project cycle Acquire, deploy, and monitor resources to maximum benefit Determine and manage risk for strategic and ethical decision-making Manage changing project management environments including human resources, cost, timelines, and workflow Lead people and teams to excellence in projects and organizational settings Communicate effectively throughout the project management cycle Assess and evaluate project management processes to continuously improve Apply project management knowledge for quality assurance in real-world settings Become proficient in the components of project management required for certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) Program Instruction Our experienced faculty are also business leaders and practitioners in their fields. Instruction provides adult learners every opportunity to apply theory to practice through experiential learning and civic engagement. Faculty apply principals of adult learning that recognize the educational value of bringing their students' work and life experiences into class. Faculty will use case studies and engage students in simulations and team exercises directed at developing decision making and leadership skills. Cost and Financial Aid We offer an internationally renowned University System of New Hampshire degree with a public tuition that is accessible and affordable. Federal financial aid is available to assist with the cost of our Master of Science in Project Management.
