Master of Education in Instructional Technology
The Instructional Technology master's degree program provides online graduate education and certification in the state of Georgia at level five (S5) for media specialists and other public school instructional technology professionals.
Students interested in applying instructional technology to business and industry may pursue a master’s degree by tailoring a program to suit their needs. Additionally, the program offers technology integration training for teachers, administrators, and other school professionals mandated by the State of Georgia for certification/recertification.
The program offers three concentrations:
(1) INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY (36 hours) - for individuals who want to work in PreK-12, higher education, or business and industry in an instructional technology position. This concentration meets the content requirements for S-5 Certificaiton in Instructional Technology in Georgia,
(2) SCHOOL LIBRARY MEDIA SPECIALIST (36 hours) - for individuals who seek S-5 certification as a School Library Media Specialist in Georgia.
(3) DUAL CERTIFICATION IN SCHOOL LIBRARY MEDIA AND INSTRUTIONAL TECHNOLOGY (42 hours) - for individuals seeking both S-5 certifications in Georgia.
