Program Description:

The Education Specialist degree in Instructional Technology is a rigorous, high-quality, cutting-edge online learning experience designed to meet the needs of educators working with 21st century learners. The Ed.S. program provides advanced training in the use of technology in teaching and learning that naturally aligns with using those same technologies to create dynamic environments for instructional delivery.

The Education Specialist Program in Instructional Technology is a 100% online program utilizing a variety of Web-based technologies for learning activities, including GeorgiaView. While the program will be delivered primarily in an asynchronous format, synchronous chats and other instructional activities such as student presentations may be scheduled at the discretion of the instructor of each class.

The intended audience for this program is school library media specialists, teachers, technology specialists, and others who work in educational settings who would like to assume a leadership role in instructional technology. Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in instructional/educational technology or other closely related field.
