The certificate is designed for students who hold a master's degree and the program gives you the opportunity to gain credentials in as little as one year. Students seeking a certificate program may apply for financial aid. Should you wish to pursue the Graduate Certificate, you have the option to transfer these GW earned credit hours into the online Education Specialist (EdS) in Educational Leadership and Administration program.
This accelerated certificate program is nationally recognized by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and nationally recognized by the Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC).
Completion of the Educational Leadership certificate may also prepare qualified candidates for principal or administrator licensure.
