Program Description:

CCU’s Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction (MACI) offers a variety of program options to help tailor your master's degree to your specific educational goals. The scope and sequence of courses are planned to provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in your professional field. In the final performance-based assessment, the capstone, you must demonstrate proficiency in instructional design and its delivery methodologies.

A total of 36 credit hours are required for the Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction (MACI) degree. A student may choose to pursue a traditional MACI degree or may choose an emphasis in either Alternative Licensure or Biblical Studies. All students will complete 18 credits from the professional core, and the remaining 18 credits will reflect whether or not they pursue an emphasis.

Alternative Licensing – Students will take professional core requirements (18 credit hours) and 15 credit hours for the Alternative Licensing Emphasis. An additional three (3) elective credit hours are required to complete the MACI degree.
