Program Description:

The M.Ed. in Language, Literacy, and Culture is a 33 credit hour degree with two concentrations. The Literacy concentration includes coursework which may be used to seek the add-on Literacy Teacher and Literacy Coach certification from the South Carolina Department of Education and fullfill requirements for Read to Succeed. Candidates choosing Language and Culture will complete coursework which may be used for the add-on ESOL certificate from teh South Carolina Department of Education. Interactive and participatory experiences in the Chanticleer Center for Literacy Education are possible as a part fo the degree program for licensed teachers.
