Program Description:

A new and rapidly changing health care environment is forcing more physicians to accept administrative and management responsibilities. Physicians need an education that is specifically designed to face these new challenges.

Our 18-month intensive Master of Medical Management (MMM) program concentrates on distinctive competencies necessary for physician leaders to build and manage successful health care organizations. These core competencies address effective leadership, strategy, and management skills that are essential to future leaders.

The MMM program is designed for physicians (MD/ DO) wth 5+ years of experience and provides a top-ranked graduate education through a combination of distance-learning courses and four 4.5 day on-campus sessions.

The MMM program provides students with:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the complex and dynamic health care field, highlighting quality and its deep connections to strategy, public policy, and the role of the public and private sectors;
  • An appreciation for, and an understanding of, evidence-based management, healthcare economics and finance, information management and strategic initiatives.
  • Exposure to and initial mastery of effective technical and analytical tools, skills and techniques
  • Opportunities for shared interactive learning through case studies and group discussions; and
  • The ability to operate in an increasingly connected world.

International Student Requirements:

All applicants whose native language (mother tongue) is NOT English must submit an official score report from the TOEFL (25 in each section) or IELTS (7 in each section). The only exception is for students who have worked or studied for 5 years or more in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, the U.K., the U.S. or South Africa.
