This state-approved, CACREP-accredited program is built on the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model and includes online coursework, field training, and residencies.

This CACREP-accredited master’s program includes the following integrated components: online coursework, residencies, and field experiences. Each facet of your education builds on the others to take you through your program and prepare you for state licensure eligibility.

With your Master's in School Counseling from Capella, you'll learn to apply brief counseling and child/ adolescent development theories and research to school practice. You'll also learn how to deliver culturally, ethnically and life-style sensitive individual and group counseling services to students in school settings.
