Program Description:

The Graduate Certificate in Advanced International Affairs with an emphasis in Diplomacy focuses on international negotiations and diplomacy as the means to achieve national objectives. They will be acquainted with the successes and failures of diplomacy in the recent past, the challenges facing diplomats in the future, the techniques of effective diplomacy, and the regions of the world that pose the greatest threat to international stability.

This certificate stands alone as a focused program of instruction, but the credits can also be used toward an appropriate master's degree.

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants whose baccalaureate grade point average was not equal to or better than 3.0 in their last 60 hours of study, may be required to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
