The Brookline College Master of Science in Nursing – Nursing Education program specialty courses provide learning related to theoretical foundations for higher nursing education, roles of the nurse educator, teaching/learning theory and strategies, curriculum structure and design, assessment/evaluation of student learning, instructional technologies, and academic leadership roles. The program includes one practicum course.
Nurse educators combine nursing expertise and passion for teaching into rewarding careers. Working in the classroom and the practice setting, they are responsible for preparing and mentoring the next generation of professional nurses.
