Averett University’s Graduate and Professional Studies division offers a 15 month, 30-credit M.Ed. program designed for current, certified Virginia teachers. The M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction is is formatted to fit with the busy educator’s schedule through online distance learning, for professional development that doesn’t prevent you meeting other obligations. Graduates of this online Master of Education degree program should have an advanced understanding of the teaching and learning process, including effective assessment methods and instructional techniques.
