Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing
The Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing is a two-year, low-residency program that comprehensively prepares students for the future of creative writing. Low-residency programs accommodate writers who work full-time and those who live outside of Minnesota. The program features an annual summer residency and engaging online sessions. One-on-one work with top quality mentors is a key process in this program with a student-to-mentor ratio of 5:1. Genres include Fiction, Creative Nonfiction, Poetry, Playwriting & Screenwriting plus concentrations in teaching, translation, and publishing.
