Program Description:

The master's degree in Art History emphasizes a scholarly approach, and the degree may lead to further study toward the PhD, to college teaching, to museum work, to arts administration, to historic preservation and restoration, or to one's own individual enrichment. In addition, the master's program provides advanced work for majors in studio art and in other related fields (e.g., music, theater,or literature).
