Program Description:

The degree in reading is a one-year graduate program for elementary and secondary teachers that meets Ohio's reading certification requirements.
The Specialist in Education in Reading program is designed for student who have a master's degree in reading. The specific goal is to prepare teachers to play leadership roles such as coordinator, clinician, developmental reading teacher at the college, junior college, or technical college level, and/or college reading methods teacher.
