Program Description:

The online Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) Graduate Certificate prepares you to serve individuals with ASD in a variety of settings, including at home or in schools, hospitals, state and private institutions, or other human service agencies. This part-time, online program will develop the skills and tools you need to address the challenges individuals with ASD face. With the online ASD Graduate Certificate, you will: -Receive specialized training and resources designed for professionals, practitioners, and families. -Learn from faculty in special education, speech and language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, and counseling psychology. -Review the latest research on providing quality, lifelong services. -Gain access to a support network of professionals and caregivers who work with ASD individuals in rural settings. Fully online; you will participate in most class activities at the time and place of your choice. You are NOT required to come to campus at any time. In addition, you will participate in weekly "live chat" sessions. Every effort will be made to schedule chat sessions around students' work schedules. Pay in-state tuition rates for online courses regardless of where you live. Compared to paying the out-of-state tuition rate, this can translate into big savings for you!
