Movement Science (HMSC Program, MS) The Master's Program in Human Movement Science (MS) is designed to prepare specialists in physical therapy and professionals in other related fields to assume positions of leadership in various work environments. The program is organized into two major specialty tracks, neuromuscular and musculosketal, with supporting areas of the student's choice.
Movement Science (HMSC Program, PhD) This curriculum in Human Movement Science is designed to provide students an opportunity to pursue doctoral studies in areas that will increase our knowledge of human movement performance. The program focuses on contributing to the scientific basis of human movement, developing theory and methods for maintaining health, preventing disability, and improving movement ability. Focusing on normal movement and movement disability requires a unique perspective in research and education that draws upon several interrelated sciences.
