Program Description:

Objectives: Demonstrate competence in high-level Biblical research adhering to established standards and using a literal hermeneutic leading to a dispensational, premillennial interpretation of the Scriptures Exhibit skills in utilizing the Biblical languages of Greek and Hebrew as well as systematic theology in gaining Biblical knowledge Give evidence of preparedness to teach and communicate the Old Testament, the New Testament, or theology in the church pulpit, college or seminary classroom, general ministry setting, or through writing worthy of publication Show discernment in evaluating trends of major significance in a pluralistic society and articulating answers from a Biblical worldview Give evidence of a commitment to continual growth in Christian maturity Academic Requirements: An appropriate master's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 including 6 semester hours of Greek, 6 semester hours of Hebrew, 6 semester hours of Biblical Introduction (Old Testament and New Testament), and 12 semester hours of Systematic Theology Graduation: Completion of 60 semester hours of prescribed courses with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0, passing the written comprehensive examination upon completion of the course work and the oral defense upon completion of the dissertation, and submitting an acceptable dissertation.
