Master of Science in Environmental Education
The Master of Science in Environmental Education program expands students’ scientific knowledge as well as their experience-based teaching skills. Students develop into well-rounded researchers and educators. Faculty hold both scripture and science in high regard in the learning community. In the program, students have the freedom to explore, the freedom to question, and the freedom to believe.
From a Christian perspective, students learn the historical development of the environmental movement and the environmental education field, the environmental systems operating on local, regional, and global scales and the human impact on those systems, and a theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of instructional strategies, teaching methods, and curricula used in education.
