Ecology and Evolutionary Biology
The University Program in Ecology provides interdisciplinary, scientific training in all aspects of ecology, including both basic and applied studies, ranging from populations and their behavior to synthetic analyses of the Earth as a functional ecological system. The program brings together the broad range of expertise in the environmental sciences found in various departments and schools on the Duke campus. General areas of specialization include studies of community, evolutionary, plant and population ecology; paleoecology; ecosystem analysis and global change.
