Program Description:
The Master of Arts Program in Romance Languages offers in-depth study of the culture, arts, and literature of the Hispanic or Francophone world, development of critical and analytical skills, and continuing and advanced language development.
Concentrations: French College Teaching; French K-12 Teaching; Spanish College Teaching; Spanish K-12 Teaching
This program requires 36 credit hours for completion.
K-12 Teaching candidates complete a Product of Learning culminating in a one-hour formal presentation of this at the completion of the degee.

College Teaching candidates maintain a portfolio of representative work generated in the course of the program, which will serve as the basis for a one-hour oral comprehensive examination.
The department also offers graduate certificates in French and in Spanish.
