Ranked in the Top 200 Regional Universities by US News & World Report, Utica is also a National Center of Excellence. This stature is designated by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security for Utica’s Information Assurance/Cyber Defense Education (CAE IA/CD) for the academic years 2014-2019 .

Graduate Admission Requirements
Utica University uses an online application form. Prospective students are required to complete this form, which includes details such as a personal statement, work history, and official transcript, and submit an application fee. The transcript needs to show award of a bachelors degree and any other graduate degrees. This packet must be received by 30 days after the start of classes. In addition to these basic materials, there may be program-specific requisites
