Program Description:

The UB Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) realizes that mechanical and aerospace engineers have the opportunity to change the world and solve many of the technical, environmental, and societal problems facing humanity. We are preparing the next generation of mechanical and aerospace engineers by offering a range of excellent research-based programs at the master's and doctoral levels. We welcome students from New York State and around the world to work on innovative science, interdisciplinary technologies, and advanced systems design and to receive first-rate training in fundamental and applied aspects of Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Our award-winning faculty and exceptional students make our department an ideal setting to prepare you for one of many careers including a practicing engineer, a technology leader, an innovative designer, or an independent researcher.
