Program Description:

Our M.S. and Ph.D. programs are designed for the individual who wishes to pursue advanced training in epidemiological research. The MPH programs provide training for public health practitioners in epidemiology, environmental health sciences or health services administration. There is close collaboration with such facilities as Roswell Park Cancer Institute (NY State Dept. of Health's National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center), New York State, local Erie County and Niagara County Health Departments, local hospitals and other schools within our own urban research University. Financial aid, in the form of salary and tuition support is only offered to Ph.D. students


The School of Public Health and Health Professions is accredited by the Council on Education in Public Health. The University at Buffalo is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
