Program Description:

Combining knowledge of the human system and engineering-based quantitative problem-solving skills, UB Biomedical Engineering is at the forefront of research and development today.  Spanning both the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Science and the School of Engineering & Applied Science, our faculty and students work on projects without limitations or departmental boundaries. We are a multidisciplinary field where our faculty and students combine aspects of engineering and medicine to focus on the research and development of groundbreaking medical devices and therapies addressing society's most pressing health problems, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes and cancer.
