Program Description:

The Graduate Certificate in Construction Management provides students with the opportunity to develop the specific skills required to gain the competitive edge in this industry. Curriculum covers a broad range of relevant topics, from legal principles and accounting to cost management and technologies. Classes are taught by leading construction management professionals who bring their real-world expertise to the classroom.

The program is designed for students who have earned a bachelor's degree and who wish to obtain a foundation for a career in construction management, or to enhance their current credentials in this continually evolving field. In addition, it is an ideal option for those who hold a master’s degree and who wish to specialize within this industry.

Upon successful completion of this certificate, students may apply the credits earned towards the 36-credit M.S. in Construction Management. The responsibility for meeting degree requirements rests with the candidate, who is expected to abide by the policies regarding time limits.

The graduate certificate is designed to provide a foundation for professional practice and further study in the field. It consists of a subset of courses in the master's degree program that corresponds entirely to the first six courses of the core curriculum.
