Program Description:

The Sociology graduate program reflects The New School’s historical connection to European social science and takes a distinctive approach to the examination of social life. The curriculum is organized around areas of research that reflect the interests of the faculty: social inequality; culture and politics; law, rights, and citizenship; historical and comparative sociology; and cities and publics.
