Program Description:

Mannes’ full-time graduate and postgraduate programs offer advanced training to a select group of musicians, preparing them for careers as professional artists. An individual curriculum is designed for each student, consisting of intensive study in one of these concentrations: Orchestral Instruments, Piano, Harpsichord, Vocal Accompaniment for Pianists, Orchestral Conducting, Choral Conducting, Voice, Classical Guitar, Composition, and Theory.


The New School has been regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, a federally recognized body, since 1960. All degree programs at the New York City campus of The New School are registered by the New York State Department
