Program Description:

This intensive three-year graduate program, based on the principles of Stanislavsky, challenges actors to grow as artists. Students begin with a course of self-discovery, explore technical craftsmanship in the second year, and finish by acting in fully staged productions and developing business plans to prepare for professional careers.


All degree programs at The New School are registered by the New York State Department of Education. The New School has been regionally accredited by Middle States Commission of Higher Education since 1960.
